PROGRAM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
To be admissible into the program, applicants must meet ALL the requirements in either category:
General Admission:
- Be 18 years of age or older at the time of application; AND
- Possess a High School Diploma
OR
Mature Admission:
- Be 18 years of age at the time of application; AND
- Be a minimum of 1 year out of High School; AND
- Obtain a minimum score of 267 on the Basic Skills Assessment Exam
All Applicants are required to:
- Provide a sample of hand drawn artwork
- Complete an interview (By phone or email is only permissible if BSA Exam is not able to be administered locally)
STEP 1: APPLY/application Fee

The following is to be included with your application. *Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.*
– Submit completed application: $100 Application Fee* must be paid in order to have your application reviewed for intake. (Application and fee can be paid/returned in person or by email – we can accept E-Transfer, debit, credit or cash).
– Provide proof of High School Diploma OR GED
– Sample Artwork , see below for instructions: (physical copy is required for interview)

~ Hand Drawn, No Photocopies/tracing
~ Pencil or Charcoal
~ 5×7 inches minimum
~ The piece should include some form of:
~ Writing
~ Straight Lines
~ Curved Lines

STEP 2: booking an interview
You will receive an email acknowledgement of your application.
We will Provide:
- Interview/Testing Dates (If applicable)
step 3: interview requirements
Once the inteview date has been confirmed, you will receive an email containing interview guidelines.
The following items are required for the interview:
- If a copy of your Diploma OR GED could not be provided upon application, the BSA Exam is required.
- If English is not Primary: proof of English Skills for ESL: 15+/30, IELTS 4.5+, TOEFL iBT 40+, current within 3 months. ***This is the Applicants responsibility to provide. Failure to provide will result in an automatic Admission Denial.***
- Government Issued Photo ID
- Birth Certificate OR Social Insurance Card/Number
step 4: notice of admission status
If all conditions are met after the interview: You will receive an email providing Notice of Admission Status within 2 weeks of Interview/Testing Completion.
If Admissible, this email will include the following:
- Acceptance Letter
- Course Start Date
- Program Costs & Payment Deadlines
- $250.00 Enrollment Fee Payment Instructions/Deadline *This Fee must be paid at least 2 Mondays before the start date. This is a Non-Refundable Fee.*
**If unable to issue an offer of admission, the applicant will be notified by email of the admission decision, the reason(s) for it, and advice for gaining admission in the future.**

Once ALL Fees have been paid: You will receive an email Confirming Enrollment within 2 weeks. This email will contain the following:

- An Accommodations Contract/ Fees & Payment Instructions/Deadlines (If applicable)
- Tuition Payment Deadline

Bring the following with you to the first day of class:
- Original signed Enrollment Contract Copy
- Applicable Documents (if not received at time of interview)
- Indoor Shoes
- Mask(s)
***$250 Enrollment Fee must be paid AT LEAST 2 Mondays before the start date, and Full Payment for the course must be paid AT LEAST 1 Monday before the start date. If Full Payment is not received on time, you will need to apply for the next available course date.***
